The New Yorker: Despite the Ceasefire, Trump's "Stone Age Mindset" Remains

"The president will have a hard time convincing anyone other than his most ardent supporters that what has happened over the past six weeks has been a success for the United States."

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The New Yorker, criticizing some of Trump's positions, described him as Stone Age, writing, "The Trump administration believes it can secure America's desired interests in whatever way it sees fit. This 'Stone Age mindset' may appeal to Trump's nationalist base within the United States, but it has not been very effective in advancing his goals in the Middle East."

"The president will have a hard time convincing anyone other than his most ardent supporters that what has happened over the past six weeks has been a success for the United States."

"The Islamic Republic remains standing and, contrary to Trump's earlier claims, is not on the verge of collapse. Some analysts even believe that Iran's system may emerge from this confrontation in a stronger position."
